The dance industry is no stranger to the innovative and elaborate work of multi-year Capezio A.C.E Award finalist, and Conteur’s Artistic Director, Eryn Waltman. As “Choreographer of the year” from the National Committee of the American Dance Awards in the United States, she has established her artistic abilities as a dancer, teacher and choreographer across Canada and the United States.
Recently, Ms. Waltman was commissioned to choreograph a piece for Andrew Winghart’s show “Out of Darkness”, which premiered in Los Angeles in July of 2013. Other select credits include:, Opera House Bazaar and at Toronto’s annual Choreographer’s Ball, Choreography for 2011 Juno Award Winner – Shad “Keep Shining”, 2011 Stylus Award Nominee – Aleesia “Not That Girl”, Kai “I Choose Me”; Mia Martina “Heartbreaker,” and Blake McGrath “Heaven”. Over the past 4 years, Ms. Waltman has been nominated as one of the few North American finalists to showcase her work at the Capezio A.C.E Awards, held in New York City.
